Trading Family,
Due to recent developments in my own personal life, I am planning on making some important service changes to my site.
About 5 years ago, I started to produce crypto trading content after a friend encouraged me to do so. I was hesitant initially but COVID-19 was upon us and had left me locked inside my home with additional time and opportunity to try something new. My creative juices were flowing with all kinds of ideas. I had thought about starting a diet and exercise consultation channel. I had considered cyber security consultation. Both of these avenues of knowledge I consider myself to be well adept in. But I also enjoy trading …particularly crypto, of course. That being said, on a whim I went with the prodding of my friend and started this channel and Stewdamus Trades was born.
It has been a journey through a long and grueling bear market and some insane political/economic/crypto events, but overall, well worth it. I have enjoyed the company of my followers tremendously. Much more than you may know. Your support, private messages, and following encouraged me to keep going. And I learned so so much! I feel that most of the benefit of starting this channel has been received by me. In attempting to do something I have never done before, I learned how to put out content to many different SM outlets via bots. I learned how to create video content on the fly. How to quickly spin up a website. I have become a spreadsheet god. I have learned how to use AI to create my own Pinescript indicators for use on Tradingview. And so much more. This knowledge will definitely not go to waste and I will continue to build on it in going forward.
More importantly, I have become a better trader along with all of you. I have learned how to set aside my emotions and trade using logic and reason. I have learned how to notice and chart market psychology and place my trades accordingly. I have learned to study fundamentals and add this in as a factor. I have learned hundreds of chart patterns and indicators and which ones can most likely accommodate my particular trading strategy. I have been able to create my own new custom indicators and implement these as well. The benefits and knowledge I have gained in my overall skillsets these last 5 years is invaluable and it will remain with me through the rest of my life.
Last, but certainly not least, I have been able to meet all of you through this digital interface we call the internet. You all have encouraged me to do what I do by letting me know that you learned something new or that you made great trades based on my education or that you’ve learned to manage your emotions and risks, you’ve learned to read the charts better, etc. This is just some of the great feedback I have received through the years. It was all just enough to keep me plugging along.
Now, the news.
Honestly, I had been debating for some time whether or not it was time to end or change my current payment structure and service offerings. But recently, I have had some further confirmation that it is time. Personally, my situation has changed with my current employer. Previously, I had been able to telework. This allowed easy and quick access to my personal computing equipment which allowed me to rapidly put out a post or two in between my work duties while on break, etc. I also did not have to plan for travel to and from my place of employment. This gave me a few extra minutes before and after each day. All in all, I just had a convenient arrangement which allowed me to maintain my posting frequency and content without interfering with work duties.
Recently, my telework agreement has ended. This was honestly not a big deal for me at all. My goal was to observe the situation to understand how much I could still remain involved in putting out content. Honestly, it was perfectly manageable but my heart doesn’t seem to be in it any more. Don’t get me wrong, I do love trading. I have so much fun with it. And I really haven’t had the privilege yet to lead you all through an altcoin bull run. TBH, I was hanging on for that as I think it will start very soon (like starting withing the next month or two)! But now my workload with my current employer has more than doubled and will still be increased further as some of my associates are moving on. My focus on crypto trading has resultantly decreased. Yet another confirmation.
Since I have been on the fence about continuing my trading publications really for the last year or so, recent events have only confirmed that this is probably the correct action for me to take at this point in my life. Thus, it is with sentimental sadness that I am announcing the closure of my paid subscriptions content. I will be ending the expected trade alert delivery service for both stocks and crypto for the time being. This does not mean I will be going away for good. On the contrary. I will continue to stick around and will attempt to occasionally post content giving you a larger macro-perspective on the economy, the stock markets, and of course, crypto. But I will no longer be selling my trades and signals.
Soon, I will be changing the payment structure of this site so that, if you would like to support this content monetarily you may continue to do so with a gift of your choosing but you will not be required to do so. Occasionally, I may still post great trade setups and entries both in stock and in crypto. However, I am not wanting to be expected to do so on a regular frequency since time may no longer afform me this opportunity. Thus, much of the content on this site will be pertaining to overall macro chart structures and status. Some content will provide you with indicators and trades strategies. And some content may even signal excellent trade opportunities but I will no longer be bound to provide these signals. Payments will be voluntary only. And you will have the ability to choose the amount of your donation in an effort to support any content that I do put out. Any amount will be accepted and, as always, greatly appreciated.
More updates to the changes in this payment structure will come as I make them hopefully withing the next week or two. For now, all payments will be paused. Thank you all for your understanding and continued support. It means the world to me. It really does.
✌️Stew
Thanks - will I be getting a refund for the full year subscription I purchased?
Thanks for all the that you have done. Appreciate the time and wisdom you have shared over the years. But, not saying good-bye but rather see you around.
