Since my last post on meme coins only a week ago AI16Z had 8x’ed from the time of the post to its recent top. Fartcoin had 3x’ed and Goatseus Maximus was up as much at 60%. What do all of these coins have in common? They are AI-generated/controlled meme coins.

I have noticed a trend this past week while watching the meme coins rocket, AI coins were truly the ass-kickers. So, it isn’t enough to know that meme coins will take all the glory in this bull cycle. It’s much better to know that most of these meme coins may actually be AI-generated and controlled.

What is the psychology behind meme coins? Honestly, I think much of it is an affront to the current financial system, which has left millions in debt with little hope of affording much more than basic necessities. And for Gen Z and Alpha, buying a home is a pipe dream that is seemingly more and more unobtainable. Meme coins are the middle finger to it all. It’s like saying, “F*** you! We don’t need your system. We’ll do it our way. And, we’ll have fun too”. Meme coins are here to stay.

But people are hard to trust. 99% of meme coins out there are absolute trash created by con artists and money grubbers intent on scamming opportunists out of their cash. A coin will start to grow and devs will pull. Ruggies have left meme coin traders hurt and skeptical. This is why I think AI-generated meme coins have started to grow in popularity. I have no substantial data to back this opinion up, but it does seem that traders are definitely focusing in on AI-genned and controlled mcs. Many traders may believe, whether it’s true or not, that AI-genned coins are more trustworthy investments (Do I call it an investment or a gamble?).

Anywho, besides the three that I mentioned in my last post, here are a few more AI-genned mcs for you to DYOR on and watch.

Before we get there, a disclaimer. Meme coins are a highly risky asset class. There are definite rules you must follow to be safe. Besides focusing on AI-genned mcs, I also like to ensure that:

1. The MC is somewhere between 10-100M. This is my pref bc it seems most coins will have gone through multiple 70%+ drops by then and it establishes the commitment of the coin’s community.

2. There is a decent presence on SM. More people, more market and market drivers.

3. The meme could gen a cult-like following. Which is why I look for #4:

4. The meme is stupidly funny, makes a standout statement, or is philosophically engaging.

5. There are many holders and not just devs with many wallets of the same size. I like to check bubblemaps for this.

6. The coin can be marked relatively safe from ruggies. I like to check rugcheck for this.

7. Be careful not to follow an X account with an enormous following who pumps a small coin with tiny MC. This could indicate he is a large hodl’er and it could be many wallets automated by bots who dump once the coin pumps. This is why you have to investigate thoroughly with the steps above.

8. Trust your gut. If it doesn’t feel right, it probably isn’t.

9. All this being said, you may still get left holding a bag or two here and there. That is why this rule is so important. Small amounts per coin only. Never risk more than you can afford to lose.
